The Deming Luna County MainStreet Program created a Historic Downtown Walking Tour recognizing 16 Historic Buildings in our district! Our Mimbres pottery branding theme is carried further throughout the City with our wayfinding signs in 3 large Mimbres pottery replicas. You can find these located at the Deming Visitor Center, Leyendecker Plaza, and the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum. These signs help people to explore Deming’s Downtown Historic District. Each of the 16 buildings features a granite plaque with some history about the structure and it’s original use.
